Eco Jet Charters

Stratos Jet Charters understands that the environment in which we live is our most important resource. We believe that as good citizens of the planet; we ought to do our part to mitigate our impact on the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
The best way to reduce greenhouse gas emissions is to use less energy. But air travel is a necessary activity for business today. A two-hour flight in a Citation X burns about 600 gallons of fuel, the same amount an average person uses in a whole year of driving. Stratos Jet Charters wanted to provide an accurate means for our most discerning clients, to offset their flights carbon emissions.
Through extensive research on carbon offset programs and a desire to contribute to an effective long term solution Stratos Jet Charters chose to partner with TerraPass to develop their Eco-Jet Charter Program. Stratos Jet Charters campaign to "Offset Your Jet" was launched in the spring of 2007Blog Archive
